Our story · since 1988
From Carol’s kitchen in Swartz Creek, Michigan.
Fireside began in 1988, when founder Carol Davis started hand-crafting drink mixes in her kitchen and selling them at local events. Stores kept asking to carry them, and a kitchen-table idea grew into the small-batch roastery and coffee shop we are today.
That same small-batch care goes into our Spiced Chai: real black tea, honey, milk, and aromatic spices, blended into the smooth, balanced cup customers come back for, year after year. Iced or hot, it tastes hand-crafted, because it is.

Can I make this iced?
Absolutely, it's built for it. Just stir the mix into cold water until smooth, then pour over ice. No milk to add, it's already in the blend. It also works hot, or blended frozen.
Does it have caffeine?
Yes. Our chai is blended with real black tea, so each cup carries a gentle, natural caffeine lift, less than coffee, perfect for an afternoon refresh.
How many cups in a bag?
Each 1 lb pouch makes around 16 servings, enough to keep you in iced chai through the season.
When will my order ship?
Orders ship within 2 business days of being placed, fresh from our roastery in Swartz Creek, Michigan. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and it's free on orders over $75.
