Our Story
Our journey began in 1988 when our founder, Carol Davis, started handcrafting mocha mixes in her kitchen and selling them at local events. The demand quickly grew, leading us to expand into our current unique location.
Our quirky location—set back off the road, behind a house, in an oversized brick building—holds a special place in our hearts. This spot has been our home since Carol moved the rapidly growing business out of her kitchen. Initially focused on wholesale, we weren't open to the public. But in 2016, we transformed part of our space into a welcoming coffee shop, creating a community hub despite its unconventional setting.
We roast our coffee in small batches using specialty beans that are ethically sourced from around the world. This meticulous approach ensures that every cup is a perfect blend of quality and sustainability. Today, we're more than just a coffee roastery. We still make all of our handcrafted mocha mixes and other instant blends, using our original recipe from 1988.
